# Prompt

**Package:** `flyte.extras`

Simple prompt record with built-in token estimation.

This is a convenience type for common LLM use cases.  For richer
prompt types (e.g. with system messages, metadata), define your own
dataclass implementing `TokenEstimator`.

## Parameters

class Prompt(
    text: str,
)
```
